This Brooklyn based noise pop duo literally knocked my socks off when they performed in St. Petersburg in November.

The show was in the cozy State Theater venue, and I had the pleasure of watching them from the first row. Not only did I proceed to take off most of my clothes throughout their performance, but I also had their lead singer Alexis Krauss crowd surf above me. Their unforgettable, electrically charged line-up has me more than thrilled for their appearance at the Big Guava Music Festival at the Florida State Fairgrounds May 2.

Derek Miller and Alexis Krauss have released three phenomenal albums: Bitter Rivals, Reign of Terror and Treats; within the last four years. Krauss, a former teacher turned rock star, has had several singles featured in movie trailers for films such as “Abduction”, “Kick Ass 2”, “The Bling Ring” and “Pain & Gain”. Their tracks have also appeared in several commercials for companies like Apple, Dr. Pepper, and Saturday Night College Football.

These rising stars will be performing in the Day One line-up at the Big Guava Music Festival with artists such as Outkast, Cake, Betty Who, Twenty-one Pilots and more. Tickets are still on sale at livenation.com for $65 per day.
