Cold as ice
It’s that time of year again. The air is cooler and stores are breaking out their holiday decorations. It’s time to take drink cocoa and pull out our warm clothes, though in Florida we usually don’t get past a sweater and maybe some boots. To get Tampa into the spirit of the season Curtis Hixon Park is bringing back it’s much loved ice rink.
Starting on Nov. 11, people of all ages can enjoy the simple pleasure of ice skating. It costs 10 dollars a person and includes rental skates for a 90 minute session. So for those of you who are northern transplants and miss the cold or if you just want to have a fun date, this activity comes highly recommended.
