Members of the Phi Theta Kappa Plant City attend a roadside clean up.

We welcome Plant City’s new Mathematics’ faculty and Phi Theta Kappa Advisor, Mr. Joseph Kitchens. Kitchens led the first, Fall 2015, Alpha Gamma Chapter Adopt-A-Road clean-up on Saturday, Sept. 19. The group collected 10 “yard size” trash bags of garbage and one abandoned tire. This campus-led community service keeps Wilder Road free of loose garbage and abandoned items. Thank you to PTK members Landon Messics, Leslie Simmons, Emily Otten, Kyle Hill, Zach Westra, Andrew Gonzalez, and Allen Rogers. A special thanks to former PTK advisor and current HCC, Instructional Designer at CITT, Jeffrey Brady, for assisting with the cleanup.
