The 6th Annual Black Brown and College Bound took place at the Grand Hyatt Tampa, February 29th- March 3rd, 2012.This year’s theme was- “And still we rise”. Among the many seminars held; Professor Jy Hon Vance of Baltimore Community College Presented The Quest Program- which he described as an initiative to build “A learning community to connect, recruit, and retain African American Males in Higher Education”. Many keynote speakers were in attendance and the three day event provided a multitude of concurrent sessions, roundtables, and opportunities for students to network with summit professionals.
