On Friday, Sept. 9, 3 Daughters Brewing in St. Petersburg hosted a live art instillation by local artists Fary Charles and Samuel Hues. The art event is free and open to Tampa Bay locals. It targets the young college community. Live music by DJ and sound guru GILLYBOMBA was also present at the event.

DJ GILLYBOMBA (A.K.A. Gilson Dos Santos) presented the newest hits from all genres of music remixed in modern EDM/house mixes. DJ GILLYBOMBA caters to the Tampa Bay area by continuously providing new sound and creativity.

Between the performers, creative sound, and the exposure of talent within our local community, the college locals of the Tampa Bay showed a lot of support. This event targets a wide spectrum of talent and viewers including students from all backgrounds.

For outdoor activities, there were stations of corn hole and extreme Jenga, and large picnic tables where large groups could intermingle and enjoy the live show.

It was the perfect time for any student to step back, breathe, keep calm, and while adjusting to the transition from summer madness to fall semesters responsibility and discipline.

The event provided student entertainment in a positive way whether you attended for the craft beer, free entertainment, or to socialize and meet new friends.

Whether a student has a preferred hobby or course of study or lifestyle, live art itself is an international language.

The event caters to the recent social movement for originality and creativity in a rehabilitating way positively supporting others as a student body with similar view points as well as enjoying an event that is made just for you.

When asked what he hopes his music provides for listeners, JD GILLYBOMBA replied “Since I was a young boy DJ AM and DJ Dre creative sound inspired me to develop the skill I knew I had. I’ve always wanted to bring it to a younger generation, as a new light of sound. I hope to bring a night people listening won’t forget.”

Artwork was also on display. Painter and artist Junkyard said “I hope to inspire, grow and provide the college community a different outlook.” All around, the turn out Friday night was something you didn’t want to miss.
