Good guy, Luke Bry “That’s My Kind of Night”

Luke Bryan’s “That’s My Kind Of Night” tour rolled through Tampa Thursday and Friday on September 25-26, at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on the Florida State Fairgrounds.

According to Stephanie, an HCC student and fan, “It rained most of tonight, but it was probably my favorite concert ever.” Seems that Tampa weather proves Luke Bryan’s live skills can endure any night for his “That’s My Kind of Night” show.

Despite rain on both days, the tailgates were set out and the audience showed up. Goes to show Tampa does not stop having fun just because of weather. In fact, the headcount was better than expected and the tailgate was strong. Not only was there a good turnout, but fans also got to learn how nice of a guy Bryan actually is to fans.

On the first night of Bryan’s two-day tour stopover in Tampa, a young boy was given the opportunity to sing “Crash My Party” on stage by Bryan’s side. A report from Taste of Country claims that the boy was holding up a sign asking if he could sing with him. If this isn’t enough to show Bryan’s capabilities as a generous and nice person then we shouldn’t forget to mention his heroic act last year.

During Bryan’s last visit to Tampa, a fight broke out between two girls and two guys jumped in and tried to finish it. Bryan stepped in to break it up.

According to Christina Vinson’s “Luke Bryan Dishes Details of Tampa Concert Fight: ‘A Girl Started It,’” Bryan says, “We don’t even have a protocol for those moments; I can see a fight about to happen and look at a security guy and squash it. But this thing happened and a guy was hurt pretty bad and they needed to get him seen. It was very unfortunate.”

As the fight was dealt with, Bryan revamped the concert by reopening with “If anybody fights again, we’re gonna send you’re a** to jail, all right?”

If Luke’s attitude and personality doesn’t make him a role model, then at least he’s a lady’s man.

Sean Daly from Tampa Bay Times writes a pre-article for the concert recalling his experience at a previous concert where he claimed to have brought a date that spent 90 consecutive minutes staring at Bryan. You can argue whether he’s more of a lady killer or a role model, but at the end of the day, the one thing you can’t argue is that the tight-jeaned good guy is a great performer. Rain or shine, he fits the show headine, “That’s My Kind of Night.”
